Thirteen models of closed-type muzzle brake compensators machined and SLM-printed from Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium, for calibers from .223 to .375. Sound reduction is measured, not estimated: 28.9 to 35.0 dB depending on the model, .308 Win, one metre from the muzzle.
Every unit is made to order for your caliber and barrel thread — from M13×1 to M24×1, plus imperial 5/8-24 and 3/4-24. Two to three weeks, two-year warranty, service life over 10,000 rounds.

MUZZLE BRAKE IS
A muzzle brake compensator screws onto the thread at the muzzle and works on the propellant gases following the bullet. In a closed-type device — DTK-P, or “can” in shooters’ shorthand — those gases are not thrown straight out to the sides: they enter expansion chambers inside the body, slow down, cool, and leave later and more gently. One device therefore does two jobs at once — less recoil, and a lower peak sound level where the shooter stands.
An open muzzle brake is built the other way round: ports right at the muzzle fling gas sideways. It works on recoil only — it does not reduce the report, and next to the shooter it makes it sharper. Both groups sit in this catalog. TT MAXI and TT MAXI PLUS are open devices built for sport and precision shooting, and their data sheets say so outright. The other eleven models are closed-type.
How much quieter is a matter of measurement, not of adjectives. We shot and measured: a comparative test of 15 devices in .308 Win and a 6.5 Creedmoor session with 5 devices. Models we have not measured carry no figures.
A closed-type device is not a silencer in the legal sense. Expert conclusions have been issued for our models and are published in the documents section together with the certificate of conformity and the patent — they open and download without a request.
HOW TO CHOOSE
ONE FOR YOUR RIFLE
01 · Caliber and thread
The bore is machined for a specific bullet and the mount is cut for a specific thread — threaded on every model in the range, integral ones included. Metric threads run from M13×1 to M24×1, with imperial and left-hand options. You do not need to know your own thread offhand: measuring it with a caliper takes about fifteen minutes, and the selection calculator lists the models compatible with your caliber and thread.
02 · Length and barrel entry
A classic device stands entirely ahead of the muzzle, so its whole length is added to the rifle. An integral one slips over the barrel and only the difference is added: the 3D Integral takes 45 mm of barrel out of its 185 mm, the INTEGRAL 150 mm of 300, the INTEGRAL PLUS 190 mm of 350. This is what decides the everyday things — whether the rifle still fits its case, and how it handles in a blind or on the move.
03 · Mass
From 215 g on the 3D Mini to 700 g on the INTEGRAL PLUS. Mass at the muzzle shifts the balance of a rifle far more than the same grams at the butt, so the number worth reading is not mass alone but the pair “mass and sound reduction” — the .308 report scores that separately.
04 · Platform
All thirteen models are made for rifled weapons. Saiga and Vepr have a dedicated position with their native threads — 24×1.5 and M14×1 left-hand. If your thread is non-standard, send us the measurements or the original thread cap from the barrel and we will cut the mount to match.

Are “can”, DTK-P and closed-type muzzle brake compensator the same thing?

Yes — one device, three names. DTK is the muzzle brake compensator, DTK-P is its closed, chambered variant, and “can” (banka) is what shooters call it because of the shape of the body. Documents and data sheets carry the full name; everyday speech uses the short one. The device is not a silencer in the legal sense — that is stated in the expert conclusions issued for our models.
How much length and weight does a closed-type device add?

Overall length across the range is 150 to 350 mm and mass is 215 to 700 g. Integral models do not add all of it: part of the body slips over the barrel. The 3D Integral takes 45 mm of barrel out of its 185 mm, the INTEGRAL 150 mm of 300, the INTEGRAL PLUS 190 mm of 350. Exact dimensions for each model are on its product page.
What separates one model from another?

Design — classic or integral with barrel entry. Manufacturing — SLM-printed from titanium in one piece (the 3D series) or turned and milled. And the working caliber range, .223 through .375. The material is the same throughout: Ti-6Al-4V titanium, service life over 10,000 rounds, two-year warranty.
Will a closed-type device fit a smoothbore shotgun?

No. All thirteen models are made for rifled weapons — every data sheet says so. The bore is machined for a specific bullet and the mount is cut for a rifled barrel thread.
Does the device get hot, and does that affect shooting?

The body heats up during long strings, which is normal: titanium withstands propellant gas temperatures and service life is over 10,000 rounds. What gets in the way is not the heat itself but the mirage above the sight line. For hot-weather strings the catalog carries an anti-mirage cover — 1000D Cordura over three layers of aramid fabric, sewn to the size of your device.
Has every model in the catalog been measured for sound?

No, and the product pages say so. Eight catalog models went through the .308 Win series of July 2026; the 3D HYBRID carries an estimate from the 6.5 Creedmoor session; the SAIGA/VEPR and STANDART 223-243 are marked “measurement pending”. We publish no figures for devices we have not measured.
