CLOSED-TYPE TITANIUM MUZZLE BRAKE COMPENSATORS

An open muzzle brake redirects propellant gases sideways and works on recoil only — it does not reduce sound and can make it louder for the shooter. A closed-type device routes gases through expansion chambers, where they slow down and cool, so both recoil and sound level drop. Our range covers both: the open TT MAXI and TT MAXI PLUS, and the closed 3D, INTEGRAL and SM 47 series.

Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5) is roughly half the weight of steel at comparable strength — decisive at the muzzle, where mass changes the balance of the rifle. Titanium does not rust and does not erode the way aluminium does, and it withstands propellant gas temperatures. Service life is over 10,000 rounds, with a 2-year warranty.

Between 28.9 and 35.0 dB depending on the model, by instrumented measurement (series 07.2026). Same method throughout: .308 Win, 20″ barrel, Ekofizika-110A sound level meter, peak level one metre to the left of the muzzle, average of five shots. We publish measured values only.

Velocity is set by the barrel and the cartridge; the device works on gases after the bullet has left, so the effect is negligible. The point of impact will shift after installation — a normal physical effect of any muzzle device, corrected by re-zeroing over 3–5 rounds. A device in working order does not degrade grouping.

The bore is machined for a specific bullet, so the exact caliber is required when ordering. A device made for a large caliber (.338, for example) can be used on smaller-caliber barrels with a slight loss of efficiency. The reverse is not possible.
